Week 272 - Kodak Brownie SIX-20 Model F
Many Brownies were made in the 20th century, this one dates from 1955-57, and has an unusual cream and brown colour scheme. There is a slide across lens for closer subjects, and a green filter to use with black and white film.
I've had a roll of Ilford FP3 black and white film sitting in a drawer for some time now, it expired in 1957, so was proably made a couple of years earlier, making it coincide very nicely with the dates for the camera.
It remains to be seen what (if any) images come from this elderly emulsion, but previous experience leads me to believe it will not be a complete failure.

I like this camera and it's color scheme. And wow, film from the 1950's!! Looking forward to seeing the results.
ReplyDeleteJust acquired my mum's old Model E variant of this. Have got some film running through it now, can't wait to see the results.
