Week 165 - Werramat
The Werra series was made in East Germany between 1954 and 1968. They all share the unusual design for winding the film on, which involves twisting a ring at the base of the lens. All the controls, except the shutter release, are on the front of the camera, giving it a sleek uncluttered look. I used an earlier model in week 53, this is one of the later ones and has a coupled exposure meter, but although there is some activity from the meter, it doesn't seem to be at all accurate, so I will be using a handheld meter.
